Viva Ananda Retreats
Dr. Luna V. Ananda
Luna is a psychiatrist by training and a mother of three daughters by calling and somewhere along the way, those two paths became one practice. She spent years holding space for people in crisis before she understood that healing couldn't stay confined to a clinical hour. So she built something bigger: a container where clinical rigor and ancestral wisdom could sit in the same room.
Today, Luna leads The Weaver's Retreat alongside her daughters — Dr. Thanki, Dr. Meera, and Pooja — a family who has turned their combined expertise into one shared body of work. She holds the whole, the way only someone who has walked her own hard road back to herself can.
Adult PsychiatristDr. Meera Mehta
Meera spent years as a child and adolescent psychiatrist before she understood what that training was really preparing her for. Working with kids taught her something most adult healing modalities miss: every earlier version of a person — the child, the teenager, the one who learned to stop asking for what she needed — never actually leaves. It keeps living in the nervous system, waiting.
At The Weaver's Retreat, Meera holds a healing opportunity a child in her office rarely gets — a fully formed adult who can finally become the parent that younger part never had. Through somatic work, she guides people back to the parts of themselves left behind.
Childhood & Adolescent Psychiatrist
Ayurvedic Practitioner & NaturopathDr. Meghana Thanki
Meghana grew up watching her mother hold space for people at their most raw and it planted something she couldn't ignore. She became a doctor herself, trained in both naturopathic and Ayurvedic medicine, drawn to the places where body, nervous system, and spirit actually meet.
At The Weaver's Retreat, she carries the earth-honoring thread — through nourishment, movement, and touch — helping people come back into a body they've spent years living outside of. Her work doesn't end when the retreat does; she walks alongside guests through the weeks after, making sure what they found here roots into daily life instead of fading into memory.
Beauty EntrepreneurPooja Mehta
Pooja is the entrepreneur in a family of doctors — the one who chose her own path and built a thriving, highly visible business in the beauty world. But after a decade of running on autopilot and mistaking obsession for success, she dismantled everything and rebuilt her life from a grounded place instead of an anxious one.
Today she knows firsthand that ambition and inner calm can live in the same body. At The Weaver's Retreat, she's walked the burnout road and come out the other side, holding space for women ready to stop surviving and start living.
Gustavo Castañer
Gustavo has spent over twenty years as an energy healer — so he walked into The Weaver's Retreat already fluent in the terrain. What he wasn't prepared for was the container itself: what happens when four women, a mother and her three daughters, each bring a different mastery into the same room. He watched people arrive braced and leave open. He felt his own defenses do the same. Twenty years of doing this work himself, and he still hadn't seen anything hold people quite like this.
That's what he brings to every applicant now. As Retreat Admissions Lead, he's not screening from the outside — he's speaking from inside the experience, listening for the same readiness in a stranger's voice that he once heard in his own. So when he tells a person this container can hold her/him, he’s not guessing.
